Got a qn here. I completed my RT phase 2 this year during the feb period which is for the previous year window and i fail my IPPT at the end of the RT. Does the IPPT taken cover the need to take IPPT for this year window ? Or isit bcos i fail thats why i need to book IPPT for this year window ? My fren told me bcos the RT overlaps from last year till this year and hence there is no need to take IPPT this year. Isit correct ? Quite confuse by so many version. Please advice thanks.

The RT you're taking now is to cover for you failing your IPPT last window. The moment you took IPPT during your RT this window, you are considered as having taken your IPPT for this window. However, you still need to pass your IPPT, or else your IPPT result for this window (fail) will cause you to have to take RT again the next window.

This is my understanding from what the PITs told me

Hi hwz buddies, I have a question to ask you experts here.
My friend ABC is 39 now. Every year he will take IPT, but this is a special year and he got an idea.:s12:

This year can he just take and fail IPPT instead of going for the IPT, so that next year ABC won't have to go for RT as he will 40 (MR loh). In this way ABC only go for 1 session(IPPT) versus 8 sessions(IPT). Possible? Any lao jiao had done it before?
Please share experience?:)

Not sure if you can go 4 times a week. Maybe you check with the PTI better.

Most probably cannot. There needs to be at least one day's interval of rest.

Hence given 7 days in a week, there is no way to slot in 4 lessons with one day's interval. :o

No...unless the OC of the FCC gives permission. You will need a very valid reason. Late booking is not 1 of them.

a query on ippt....

I have just passed my ippt(though on partial retake) on Mar...my last window also close at end mar...

when i tried to book a new session for IPPT for next window...I saw that my window peiod is only till this July...

the window for ippt is 1 year or 9mth(new scheme) rite? Is there a shorter period for those who pass on partial retake?

thanks

It's like that 1. They can only allow you to book 3 months in advance. In July, they will extend it to another 3 months, then another 3 months till the last day before your birthday.
