Hi all, need help and advise from you guys.

I'm currently on a 6 mths (84 days x2) excused IPPT and physical training status given by my unit's MO, due to a meniscus tear, till the end of september. My window closes on end of aug. Will I still be charged as a IPPT/RT defaulter?

I tried booking a ippt session previously and turned up at maju camp but was barred from taking by the PTI as I'm on status. So what should I do now when my status end in end sept?

I've not received any news yet from my unit or mindef so I'm not really sure what should I do next after my status.

Contact your unit via ns.sg hotline and tell them your situation, they will advise u what to do.

So far I go Khatib mostly, they dont bother to check for phones at all.
Wonder if Bedok will be more stringent in their checking, since they are Guards Camp.
the past few times i've been there, they do bag checks (a quick one) and ask for your phone. the bag check takes place once u step into camp.

anyone noe can wear shorts book in kranji camp 2 for RT
what type of shorts? you can book in with pt attire though :)

I've actually called the hotline for 4 times and I've not received any call yet from my unit until now, so I'm kinda stucked at the moment. But thanks alot, I'll try calling them again.

if i not mistaken, if you are on status contineously for at least 6 months, you can be exempted from ippt for the current window.

however, your start date of status to the end of your window is only 5 months so you technically do not qualify for the exempted from ippt.

i think you better keep calling them and ask them what to do.

They will brief everyone and ask those who think that they are overweight to go take height and weight. They will then record.

No, after 1st session and gotten your BMI, u can just stay at home to lose weight. When u are ready, book an ipt or non-ict ippt, go through it then take weight again. If u clear, u are out.

All RTs are to clear for last year failure in IPPT. So, 2012 RTs are for 2011 IPPT failure.

Hi got a question, probably answer before.

I am doing full 20 rt. but in between skip a few. So need to rebook.

Which are the rt sessions that need ippt. Is it 8th, 14th and 20th session?

Are the ippt-rt compulsory?
