Erm... i knoe im going to fail my IPPT .. can i just skip my IPPT and straight book for RT? Will they consider a charge for if i never attend IPPT but RT?

no...you will be charged for being an ippt defaulter. So please attempt an ippt even if you know you will fail.

You can book a test date till: 31/05/2009.

Does it mean I can only book a date for IPPT by that date and not anymore in June ? My window is closing on 3rd July.

no it meant they only got scheduled test date till 31/05/09 but to be on the safe side juz book a date and amend later when the newer test dates are out.

If you missed it, that's it. It's stated in the FAQ that you must book in the 1st 9 months of your window. So no choice liao, go book IPPT and then RT(if you fail). After that, go book IPT to clear your next window.

almost the same anyway but less sessions.

haha the RT service pay is miserable la, for goodness sake.
In a humor jest, my RT mate joke recently that actually RT people are like people who got silver award, its also 200 bucks remuneration, just that RT people get it by installment (about 10 plus bucks per session for a total of 20) and silver award people get lump sum
On a serious note, i find people still go RT is mainly becoz the perception that RT is more slack and they don't mind the time wasting. Like the off color joke i overheard at a RT session recently, IPT people like to waste strength and RT people like to waste time.

But after you subtract the transport fee(from work place to camp and camp to home), I believe you will be getting alot lesser. Unless you stay and work beside the camp lah, then walk to camp and walk home, you will get the $200.

My personal observation is that more and more people are joining IPT which may be a good thing. Hopefully the rumored revamp of the ippt system will change all these things for the better.

yes...max 3 times per week...no way you can it get it over and done within 2 weeks. Another rule blocks it, that is you can only do 2 makeups max.

it will be for duration of 9 months

go once every month, but must show progressive improvement i think

Which FCC did u went to?? i'm quite sure that they only allow max 2 MUT, especially for Khatib FCC. if u need more, they would most probably ask u to continue your IPT untill the 9th and 10th session which is at the 5th week. unless you have VERY GOOD reason behind it.

Btw, I'm very sure that you CANNOT complete the IPT in 3 weeks even though u finish your training by the 3rd week, they will ask you to come back take the test at the 4th week with everyone else. if you really did complete the IPT by the end of 3rd week, means the guys at the FCC is either very NEW, or they act blur and screw up.

There were a few similar case happen before and when the OC there found out, all the guys there got a "Left, Right, Centre" from him....

**Note - i was the Chief ASA at khatib FCC for 2 years from jun 2006 to jun 2008, some of you might see me there before. All the policy there i can say i know it like the back of my hand.
