IPPT, IPT & RT Questions...

Ok for those who are wondering if you fail other static station, 2.4KM do you have to die die run full 6 rounds?

Just came back and the answer is NO. They changed the rule again. It's back to the old one whereby you can fall out just after one round instead of die die must run 6 rounds rule.

gentlemen... may i confirm with you on this rule for IPPT 2.4km run? now can fall out after only 1 round? or at least for khatib fcc?

no need...just be there at 7pm can liao...will have lots of briefing before the ippt commerce at 8 or 8 plus...

Eh i just realised IPT first session is NOT IPPT leh. It's called CAT Test now. This means basically it is not counted as an attempt for your IPPT, and even if you pass this test, means you are still not cleared from your IPPT.

Eh i just realised IPT first session is NOT IPPT leh. It's called CAT Test now. This means basically it is not counted as an attempt for your IPPT, and even if you pass this test, means you are still not cleared from your IPPT.

ya...I believe alot know this liao but it's called ippt coz people know this term, not cat test...if you tell them cat test, they will ask, then you probably have to say it's ippt too...

U are right.... it is just to see where u belong to... either the 4 stations failure, or running failure...

Hi guys, my first RT session starts on 2nd Oct but I got an excuse lower limbs from MO for an injury. Can I go to camp to submit my mc any earlier than the date of the first RT session ? My RT is at Khatib camp.

If I'm not wrong, you still need to go for RT...just that you will be excused lower limbs exercise...unless you are in a cast or something, then your RT will be deferred. I've seen people excuse lower and upper limb, the PTI just excused them on that particular exercise or asked them to do a alternate exercise.

Then most likely your RT will be deferred...but got to see the MO, they can so-called overwrite the excuse if they want...

If i completed both phase 1 & 2 RT for this yr's window and didnt manage to pass.

1) Am i eligible just for IPT for next yr's window onwards or do i have to do RT followed by IPT?

2) My bday is in Nov, so i'm not supposed to be eligible for IPT this yr(already less than 3 mnths before window closes), but upon logging in nsportal, i was able to apply for IPT and have applied(Ends in Oct). Will this be counted, or will it still be safer to opt out and go for it next yr?

2) yes...it will be counted as long as you can book. I remember a few years ago i deferred my rt becoz of injury. After completing my rt, I was surprised to find that I can book IPT although my window still have only a month left before closing. I completed it without any problem.
