IPPT, IPT & RT Questions...

damn sian. kenna RT 1st time in my life.

1. lets say officially they write the timing from 6pm to 10pm, what are the unofficial times? 6.20pm to 9pm?

2. phase 1 is 8 times, i read from this thread that can miss RT twice, does that mean i only need to go for 6 times? or do i need to go for MUT for all the sessions i've missed?

3. if i miss the weekend session, can MUT on weekday?

4. can just in-process and slack one corner or in the carpark?

5. is the last session of phase 1 an IPPT test? if like that then surely cannot miss liao?

with regards to unofficially 'missing' RT twice, i'm abit blur. does that mean that i can be absent from RT twice on the allocated days, and then go for MUT? or does that mean i miss RT twice completely and go for RT only 6 times in all(in phase 1)?

i booked a damn sian timing, am thinking DIY rescheduling by going for MUT instead.

Yes...both. MUT is up to you whether to do anot...but like what Haku said, if your unit is strict, you can be charged for defaulting RT if you decide not to do the MUT for even 1 session...it's a risk you are taking if you decide to miss and not do MUT...

And there is no DIY kinda of schedule...book tues and sat, you are stucked with the 2 days for phase 1 and 2...

Hi all got some questions on IPPT, IPT & RT.

1. Does taking my IPPT during my ICT count as having taken my IPPT(pass or fail) if it is during my IPPT window period?

2. I heard from my friend who is studying in NUS that becos he is in an IHL, he is excused from RT. Does it count for me since I am studying full time at SIM now?

3. If the answer to qn 1 is yes and I failed the ICT IPPT, can I just go ahead and book IPT before my window closes to be safe from the RT sessions?

1.Definitely Yes. If you manage to pass your ICT IPPT (D+12) during your IPPT window period, good for you.

2. No. It is only for local universities like NUS, NTU, SMU and local polytechnics.

3. If you failed your ICT IPPT (D+12), completed your previous year's RT for failing your IPPT or done IPT session to exempt RT for previous year.

You may book your IPT within 9 months from your birthday which is the start of your IPPT window period.

Yes, if you completed your 8 IPT sessions but failed your IPT IPPT session on the 8th session. You have completed your IPT programme.

You are exempted from RT for that year.

No 1 is excused from RT now...this was changed about 2 years ago from where IHL students just need to attempt IPPT but no RT. Now all full-time students who are IHL must do IPPT and RT but as you are a full-time student, you can defer your RT till your holidays...

yes...after every session, they will credit to your bank...every session $8-9
