erm... tis is my 1st time take IPT and today is my 1st IPT lesson....

so do i have to ownself book IPPT or it will auto schedule IPPT on last day of IPT?..

book online by yourself as its not auto-book.

you can book anytime now but you must take your ippt before your schedule ends and after 7th session.

seriously, MINDEF is at a catch-22 dilenma...

on one hand, they want to be strict with us as more and more ppl fail IPPT..

on the other hand, they CANNOT be strict with us because all of us are civilian, with much better things to do, know our rights and are much older. They want to train us properly also must think thrice because if anybody fainted during the training, the responsibility and backlash is something they are not very good @ handling...

my solution.....take out all these crap lor....waste money and time nia :p

IPT consists of 7 sessions + 1 IPPT at the end of the 5 weeks.

Does the cat test consider as 1 session? I thought I heard the PTI said that earlier. :look:

Tomorrow is my IPPT. Is it compulsory to take the 2.4km run or can I opt out of it if I fail the 4 static stations? I will be taking @ Khatib Camp.

if I'm not wrong, must walk/run at least 1 round...

if its not your ipt ippt, then you have to walk or jog at least 1 round then inform the pti that you want to fall out and out-pro.

in order for your ippt to be counted as participated, you need to score at least 2 pts and complete any 4 stations (need not be all 4 static, can be 3 static plus 2.4km).

for ipt have to complete all 6 rounds.

Let's say if my first IPT session starts on 12/4/10. From what I understand, I have to complete the 8th session (IPPT) within 5 weeks. Can I book the IPPT on 13/5/10?

When is the end date of your schedule? When you book your IPT, they will give you your start date and end date.

Thank you :o

Booked IPPT liao... It says commence at 1700hrs. Can I go anytime later than that? I always see alot of pple take IPPT ard 6pm or so which is past 1700hr :look:

latest 1715-1730hrs...anytime later than that is at your own risk cos you might have to book another day as they have cut-off time to in-pro. by right you are supposed to in-pro before 1700hrs.

if its the last day of your schedule and you cannot take ippt, then you may have to redo your ipt again.

If there is heavy rain, do we still need to report to camp for RT?

If RT is cancelled due to the rain, do we need to make up or training continue under shelter?
