Roomba 4162 is essentially a Sage with Intellibin and Pet brushes. Its sold by Roomba Exchange for US$189.95. Not sure if this is the best price but u can source around. I suppose if u can factor in freight, it'll be close to this price. Well, if u need the Pet Brush, then this is quite allright. However, it does not come with a scheduler remote so if u need scheduling, u'll be better off with a Roomba Scheduler with Intellibin (black) for almost the same price (on Ebay).
Choice is yrs.

As for Roomba 560 starting at US$45, dont be too hasty, just watch how high the price creeps up to once the closing bid hours are near.

Ya lo. slow. Perhaps the us economy not tat good or the items not attractive. Woot needs to put better products in, not same old products over and over again. Of course, for us, the same roomba and scooba over n over again are MOST WELCOMED!

Ha. glad that you or any bro didnt stay up to wait... else your neck will pain and you still get nothing! YES, woot off ended with no more irobot sighted after the sage. Wat a lousy woot-off and i didnt get anythin. But the fishing rod is great, too bad i missed it when i woke up at 11 am!

Yipee! I got my 560 a few days ago. Here's my review on it.

Pros:
- Sweeps and vacuums very well. It cleans up my bedroom (incl. those "dead" dust under my queensize bed). Generally, had a spick and spack inspection whichever room(s) it cleaned
- Docking. Yes, it really "finds" it way home and charge up when it's finish
- Virtual wall. Yes, this mode prevents the Roomba from wandering into rooms it's not supposed to clean.
- Lighthouse. Yes, I planted 2 lighthouses and it cleaned from RoomA, then B, then C, and then goes "home" after it finishes C. Just like the illustration on irobot.com
- Maintenance and cleaning Roomba. Quite easy, the maintenable parts is easy to remove and clean. But do it in the toilet, because there will be so much dust flying around. You got to untwirl those hair caught by the sides in the roller brush too.
- Vacuum sound decibel. Tolerable. It does not sound as loud as my 100 bucks 12V Philips hand held vaccum, although it sucks more powerfully!
- Cleverness. Not too bad for an automatic sweeper. You would need about 30 mins for it to complete each room. But heck, it's supposed to do it's job when you are not around.
- Charging. I do not power off my charger even though I do not using Roomba for 2 days. Just follow the instruction as per iRobot says lah. I will monitior my power bill to see if went up and update later.

Cons
- Scratches Veener. I have some veener furniture and it seems to damage them. Got to be careful. I am going to get felt tape to stick it on roomba to prevent it from further damage. ANYONE GOT THIS ISSUE?
- Rams furniture legs at full speed. Roomba does not slow down if the object infront is too thin, like a table leg, and depending on the angle of approach. I believe the sensors sometimes cannot figure that there is something in front if it is too thin.
- Sensors not tall enough? I have a TV console where it has a gap below slightly shorter than the height of Roomba. Now the roomba cannot seem to figure that there is something in front and bumps full speed into my veneer TV console too.

I HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS IN ANYONE CONSIDERING A ROOMBA! CHEERS!

Yup, not just veener, white wall, edges of skirting, all kena bang like no tomorrow Only IKEA table legs got paint dropped, the rest of the furnitures survive! I may want to buy some protector to cover the edge of the skirting, u know the edge where it has a 45 degree angle that type.

I put on the foamy weather strips (from $2 shop at Vivo) around my 4xx roomba. The result: everywhere got broken foam. after 2 weeks, only a few patches survived on the roomba.

Any other durable strip to use? This roomba is too bullish, how i wish the share market now is like roomba.

Is this assumption based on not powering down the charging unit at all and running it once a day? If that is true, I think this is a very worthy investment.

There are 3 replacement parts for the Roomba:
1. Bristle brush
2. Flexible brush
3. Side brush

Anyone knows where I could buy this? And at what price? The roomba is really amazing, but it seems that the fact that we have to buy consumables for it is abit put off. Anyone can help?
