I've sent you a PM. Anyone knows how to get this at a reasonable price?

iRobot cancelled my order shipping to vPost address. eBay sells at USD59 + USD13 shipping. Felt too expensive.

Where do you see the US$10 delivery fee bro? The offer I saw on their website is 10% off accessories and free shipping if you sign up for irobot's email subscription.

For the aerovac bin, the volumetric weight will probably exceed the actual weight. Not sure by how much, but if we buy at least 2 I would think that the vpost shipping will be ard $20 each. Anyway, we will split the vpost shipping equally between the number of buyers. Pm me if you are interested.

I guess we can try Borderlinx Concierge. They are able to buy from more merchants. Still interested to get it together btw?

I have placed order with Borderlinx Concierge for 4 sets as Borderlinx charges 5% for order less than USD50. Borderlinx charges are expensive than vPost so I just order a few sets more to lower the shipping cost per set. It will take 3 working days so I will let you know the outcome. I'll sell the rest 3 at cost price if the order can get through.

I got a cat at home and the fur wrapped around the gear and brush area. I need to clean it every time. Cannot take it any more. So I just go ahead ordering this to see how.

iRobot even removes my account with them once they canclled my order. So unfriendly with overseas buyers.

Hi Congyuan, what is the colour of your CHM? Is the brush of the bristle brush straight or is it in a v-shape form?

Red color. I have both types of brushes. The problem is the fur wrapping around the gear area which requires me to clean it everytime. If not cleaned right away, maybe after 2 missions the brush will stuck.

Yes. Already placed order with Borderlinx and waiting for them to place order. Because they only place order from Mon-Fri, I can only have update next week on Tue maybe.

Currently I have 2 sets available. PM me if you are interested.

Before shipping to Singapore, it is USD39 per set after adding US shipping and Tax.

BTW, anyone knows if the AeroVac bin comes with filter? The iRobot website doesn't show it. Hope it comes with filter already coz it doesn't make sense to sell the bin without filter installed.

Just ran my new 560 with aerovac bin in my 5 room flat. Overall, Im very impressed by this little guy's performance!

The roomba cleaned almost every inch of space available except for one furball. The result was an unbelievable heap of fur + dust, even though I've magic cleaned the day before.

Never tried the normal bin before but the fur stuck on the brushes were much less than expected. Maybe someone here can comment on the difference.

Hi Ppong, glad that the roomba perform to your expectation :)

I cannot see the 3rd pic but from the 1st & 2nd pic, it seems like the same to me with my regular bin. However, my dog is short fur so I would not say that it is fair for me to compare as I might get no fur at all on the brushes if I use that aerovac bin :s13: One good thing is that aerovac does not have the squegee at the bottom which will usually be stuck with these fur thus blocking the airflow of the vacuum.

I will wait for my aerovac bin to compare again as the bin that you are using was actually sent by iRobot for me to try =:p

Bro, you getting another set? The only difference these models is mainly onboard scheduling. 560 comes with 2200 mAh batt while the others comes with 1800 mAh batt which cleans 3 rooms as per iRobot's classification.

I bought my replacement battery from irobotvac. He does registered mail. Just send him an email. irobotvac@gmail.com

Anyway, anyone here knows why my 530 side brush is spinning very slowly? I can't figure it out. It snaps into place properly, so I know it's not loose. Anyone encountered this problem before?

If ur sidebrush is red 6-arm, possibly the middle has cracked, hence is loose when sidebrush motor spins. If it's white sidebrush (6-arm or 3-arm), I've never seen any cracking before, so possibly PCB problem.

Thanks for info. I've actually already checked, it's not loose. The middle is still fine, and the brush still snaps into place properly.

Now I'm considering changing the side brush module. I'm just afraid that's not the problem, and end up wasting time and money.

Any way to diagnose if it's the side brush module's fault or the main PCB's fault? Any advice will be appreciated.

If u need battery repair, u can PM me. Battery repair is only feasible if it's used for relatively short period (< 6 mths), if already used ~1 yr or more, then probably reached end of useful life (depending on ur usage intensity).

There are a few battery sellers on local eBay, including myself (uno_bliss). SLS or SLT battery is built-to-order, will be ~$90 and they use China cells (unless u request for Sanyo ~$11/cell). They may charge workmanship & they'll recycle ur 500 series thermistor connector.

I've personally used & sold 3rd party Roomba/Scooba batteries before. They may be rated higher capacity than iRobot original, but they seldom deliver the expected run time. Run time also drops drastically after maybe 6 mths.
Almost all cheap 3rd party battery manufacturers use China cells, and no effort to select matching cells during production. Without cell matching, the weakest cell will become flat first, this will give Roomba a sudden death without proper "Power LED transition" required for Home Base seeking. Upon charging, the weakest cell will reach full first & continue to be "cooked" until the rest are full, hence rapid deterioration.

iRobot use Uniross cells, and they do cell matching. The higher QC means u get a balanced battery pack which delivers rated capacity & with proper "Power LED transition".
