5-6 ml seriously is too little, I use ~40 ml Kiwi Kleen milky light blue (Super Active) for 1 full tank. No comments abt other types of Kiwi Kleen (eg. Lavender, Green Tea) cos I never use before.

Despite using water can also give nice clean feeling, but oily residue may not be dissolved if u use too little cleaning solution.

As for water droplets, a well-spread layer is normal, just like if u wipe mirror with moist cloth, u'll see a layer of water droplets.
If it's large water droplets here & there, it's from the air exhaust at the base near the left wheel.

think i typo wrongly. supposed to be 10-15ml. cause i using those cough mixture measuring cup. hhaha... 1 full cup is 10ml+. so how to determine when it's too foamy? cause i saw that there's more foam when it does it's circle dance every now and then. so saw lots of suds and didn't dare use too much.

anyway, i always do 2 cleans. 1 with kiwi kleen, then 2nd run with only water.

ashley21, after u've got the cleaning solution & water in the tank, don't be tempted to shake & all, that would create foam.

Strange thing is I've never had foam on the floor before, Only had a foamy dirty tank when I used Magiclean long ago. Since I switched to Kiwi Kleen milky light blue, there's less foam in tank.

Tekster, the 1st pass cleaning solution, 2nd pass water only, is THE ultimate best way to clean. I do that for toilets & kitchen, cos any dried up cleaning solution may become slippery again if floor gotten wet = dangerous.

With all that scrubbing & cleaning solution, toilet should be quite germ free, although a constantly warm & moist environment does promote germ growth.

So instead of shying away from exposing Scooba to toilet floor, why not make ur toilet floor germ free by using Scooba regularly? Do remember to rinse the brush & filter after use.

Hi

I tried to order accessory from irobot website using and shipping to borderlinx address but in the end the order is cancelled. But I am not sure why? Has anyone order from irobot website before, how do you order from them. Any advice?

I believe my adapter/charger for 560 was shorted with high voltage.

Anywhere in Singapore where I can get 220v charger/adapter?

Hi Dream88sg

If you are using your SG based credit card, they will automatically cancel the transaction.

Alternatives:
1) use the e-concerige service by Vpost, Comgateway or Borderlinx to buy for you (additional charges of up to 5% may be applicable)

2) Ask your US based friend with US credit card to help you to pay :)

Hi,

Can anyone direct me to a reliable source for modifying my scooba adaptor to local V?

How much does it cost, roughly? Thanks!

Just bought a couple of extra aerovac bins to save on shipping.

Have 2 brand new aerovac bins for sale at $67 each. Pm me if interested.

Just received the shipment from DHL so it's ready for collection. One piece is reserved so only one remaining.

Btw I bought also a 3-pack filter for the aerovac bin. I don't think I will use all 3 so I can let it go at $10 a piece (aerovac bin itself comes with one filter as well).

I've not been following the current Scooba model nos. So this one is the slower one as compared to the 340/380 or is it the same speed with a lower capacity battery? The specs says 1 full tank washes up to 250 sq ft only... slower model??

the newstar 80W power converter I was using with my scooba just kinda blew up.. not sure whether it's my error cos I tried to plug the adaptor into the converter when the converter was already on.. there was a spark and loud pop and it tripped the power in my entire house..

bought this power pac 80W from homefix to replace it but it seems like the true rating is much below 80W. It can't finish charging my scooba as it will heat up and auto shut off till it has cooled down..

getting quite fed up with these cheapo converters.. anyone knows if I can get this brand super star in sim lim tower? looks to be of higher quality, I am using their 30W converter for my blu-ray player and it just feels better made overall..

http://www.goldenedge.com.hk/?&cid=75299&lang=enus&product=AC/_AC_Power_Converter

anyone seen the following two super star power converters anywhere here?

:o Please get an at least 100w one~

I have been using 2x 100w newstar (1 for scooba + 1 for roomba) bought from homefix, no problem for 3yrs+~ :o

input from main is 240v while output to roomba/scooba is 110v~ :o
