Been observing puddles of water from my sccoba lately...seems that its not able to spray out water properly...any idea whats wrong and can this be repaired?

You can use those nasal pump for baby to pump in water into the valve inlet to disperse any debris out of the priming line first to see if it helps.

If anyone is getting neato, I strongly urge you to check the revision. rev112 is having lots of problem with RPS error and once it shows RPS error. It need to be replace by neato themself and they will not do a one to one exchange unless you bought it from an authorise reseller, like amazon.

I owns one neato myself and recently it is showing up with RPS error and I went through great length to get it replace. Neato support is different from irobot. Neato customer service is excellent so I have no issue with replacement just that I will need to bear the shipping cost.

If anyone is buying neato, make sure you get and keep the invoice! You don't know when you need it.

Neato is a dry vacuum robot, iRobot Scooba is a wet floor washing robot which actually sprays clean water on floor & suck up dirty water, so even saying "Scooba mops the floor" is an understatement.

Since you just entry from robot vacuum family,
I will prefer you get irobot roomba to over Neato,
Cause Neato not stable, once the RPS error you may send back to US for repair.

Scooba is just only do mopping your floor with fill in water, 1st you do not have vacuum cleaner yet, when you are using your Scooba will be suck up many hairs or dust store at filter side. It is not the good solution.

I perfer you buy commons roomba 1st, after you have extra money just looks for Scooba.
Before I am planing the same from you. End up I bought Scooba & roomba it is the matching robot for house cleaner.
Everything is commons parts and services to be commons also.

Kimsim, this is a vacuum robot, not a floor washing robot like iRobot Scooba.
To date, no other company ever came close to making a floor washing robot.

Yap, I knew that, I only hope that day the irobot Scooba can be self changing water and refill to tap water, just mix detergent in the water tank only. Totally auto charged and return to home base same as roomba.

Yeah, then u probably need to pipe in fresh water to the dock and another pipe to discharge waste water from the robot. The whole system will be totally automated, u probably only need to clean the filter once in a while.

Why not? Everything is possible. Did the cavemen ever thought we can start fire using our stove so easily now? I believe they ever dream of flying in the sky and look, now we got the A380 that can sits up to 800 passenger in the sky and we can even visit the moon.

The only hazard now is scooba puts water down, self-charging is dangerous as what if you are not at home and it causes a short circuit? Your whole house might be burnt down.

Self charging is just one aspect. The piping is a big issue... not everyone is prepared to run an inlet and discharge pipe to wherever the dock may be located. This involves additional renovation cost, not to mention aesthetics as another problem in addition to costs.
