Yeap i did, batt life is still a short 36min, though i change a new batt. The blinking light prob seems to be ok liao ...

Can try doing a reset by holding the "dock" and "spot" button for 10secs. Then allowing to charge overnight again. A brand new original battery should last >1hr 30min. No way it did last only 36minutes, unless its compatible types or expired original battery.
If you do need replacement original iRobot Roomba Batteries, We carry original batteries with Manufacturing dates after March/April 2012. Always good to get replacement batteries that are new and freshly made. Original Roomba battery is $120 with free home delivery.
Can PM me or contact us through Autovacstore.com :)

What's the difference between scooba 380 and 390? Seems like the price went up?
390 version 7 software, u see ur 330 is version 6. Latest version 380 with version 7 software, gives 30% battery boost (battery no change).

390 change colour, removed 3 useful accessories.

Below are my posts long ago describing real-life cases of Roomba with Lighthouses (aka Room-to-room navigation).
Lighthouses when set-up strategically is good, when done wrongly is counter-productive.

You're right as the 780 comes with HEPA filter, bin full indicator, dirt detector series 2 and additional cliff sensor on the back.

I also have the 570 / 581 which has the lighthouse for room to room navigation for your consideration.

Feel free to browse my site www.RobovacShop.com

The Roomba 560 should do a fair job if your home is a normal flat with no pet fur or hair problem. The Roomba 780 has several new features like allowing the use of lighthouse to confine the roomba to clean 1 area before moving to the next. However some may still find its seemingly random cleaning pattern a bit frustrating as it may still miss a spot in the confined area of cleaning. Both has scheduling function, which is really useful.
May want to consider some models with systematic navigation and 2 side brush on both sides like the Lg Roboking ($799) or the Iclebo Arte ($749). For comparisons can always drop me a PM.
Do read a range of reviews online and I am sure you would make a good choice! :)

Hi guys,
Sorry for asking a newbie question. Does Scooba works well if there's dropped hair? I am thinking of investing on such a machine, but am wondering which suits my purpose better (roomba or scooba), thanks in advance!

boxster, u can read my one-liner summary here: http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/57895725-post8344.html

I shall elaborate a bit, Scooba can suck up hair during its Stage 1 "Light Vacuum", but any hair that's wet will not be vacuumed & will instead coil on Stage 3 "High Speed Scrubbing" brush.
For household with lotsa long hair on floor, after using Scooba, u'll expect to find hair in the wire mesh filter as well as coiled around Scooba Scrubbing brush.
Either way, it gets the job done, just whether u need to pull out lotsa hair from the brush afterwards. I got an Indian family with few daughters, lotsa long hair on the brush after 1 cycle.

I would like to add on that some hairs might find their way into stage 4's squeegee dry and this will goes directly into the dirty water tank. I've seen several cases and hairs inside the tank could be difficult to clean if let accumulated inside thus giving some errors in the later stage.

It might not be stage 4, highly likely is stage 1 while hair & fur are still dry, stage 1 goes into tank also. For hair & fur to go stage 4, stage 3 brush must be "sleeping" considering it's spinning at ultra high RPM.

May be possible that the Scooba Brush spinning at high RPM may have missed some of the hair and fur at an earlier stage.

Can always use a full length Bristle brush for the Scooba. Improved efficiency and more bristles would ensure better scrubbing and washing. Better on tough stains too, adds more oomph to the scrubbing. Works with all Scooba models. The regular brush seems a little hollow and feels like it lack a little something.
Extra Fully Bristled Scooba brushes comes free with every iRobot Scooba purchase at Autovacstore.com :)
