Roomba batt & brush

Hi guys!

I've been using my roomba 560 for about a year now and I need to replace the batt and side brush. Can someone advise where's the recommended place to get these spares? I'll like to get the Li-Ion batt if it is available for the 560.

I tried reading through this thread but really have to give up after ~20 pages... there's just too much to read up, and the search function isn't very specific. So hopefully someone can help me out... Thanks :)

Hello...I am using Borderlinx and was wondering if anyone had tried shipping a roomba or scooba using Borderlinx? What is the shipping the charges like? And lastly, where is the cheapest place to get the irobots?

Thanks!

I have forgotten how much did i pay for borderlinx, should be similar to CGW. :s22:

shipping charges are sgd$50-60 last year.

HSN.com usually sell cheapest, but ordering from them maybe a problem using our sg credit cards. :(

or you can wait for woot.com offer, though they are not selling the lastest model. :o

Take note that the normal 2 pin multi-plugs may not be suitable, dont waste yr money. U need to get the multi plugs for US appliances. If u take a careful look at the 2 pins at the end of the AC cable, u may notice that one of the leg is slightly wider/thicker. I cant recall exactly where i got mine but i suggest u try places like Challenger or this place at Tekka Mall (inside Sheng Shiong Supermarket, there's an electrical outlet).

Best way to buy from HSN is use the concierge service from Borderlinx.

CGW and Borderlinx are way faster in shipment than vpost. :o

For prices, I am not so sure abt which one cheaper now. Last time borderlinx and CWG are cheaper than vpost. :o

If anyone has problems with their roomba, can PM me... I can repair for a minimal fee ok. (for helping you to clean and repair)

So far, my roomba (disco 4000 series) working for me for 4years+. Stop working a couple of times, but always managed to salvage it. ^_^.

For only 1 unit, stay with anything from 80W onwards should be fine IMO.

great thanks.
Btw what is the minimum watt for the step down conventor to be used?

from the past treads, it seemed to range from 50w and 150w.
What is the recommended watt from your experience?
