Thanks for the videos... apart from the 1st one, the rest all CMI as compared to our Roombas.

As for the Samsung intelligent robotic cleaner, i think its selling in Italy (officially) for around Eur 367 or so inclusive VAT. I didnt know it was available in Italy ... missed the opportunity to get it while i was there in May.

Roomba 4110 Sage Question

I have a Roomba 4110 Sage which is still working after 3-4 years. Recently I look more into it and realize I can use the home base to make it better. I place the home base near the TV power outlet roughly in the center of my house, which is 1300+ sq ft, has 3 bedrooms, kitchen and a living/dinning room. After I removed obstacles that make Roomba get stuck, I manage to get the robot to clean the whole place and come back to dock. The cleaning process takes about 40min, then Roomba docks. I am not sure if it docks because the cleaning is completed or the battery runs out. I waited for 3 hours for bettery to go back to green, the robot didn't auto undock to clean. The irobot website says this model can clean 2 rooms in one charge, so I wonder if it is already done cleaning.

If anyone want to get a roomba or scooba, there is a Woot-off going on. Watch out for them to appear. Usually a roomba or 2 will pop up in a woot-off.

Did u check

1) The rubber squeegees at the bottom are straight and clean, not torn?

2) The rubber tube in the port (which is removable for washing) is not clogged?

3) If 1 & 2 are ok, u can perhaps try filling the DIRTY tank with warm water. Shake the tank vigourously for a while (careful of water spilling out). Thereafter, pour out the water. U might like to repeat this 1 or 2 times to remove any stubborn stuff inside the dirty tank.

4) If u still cant resolve the issue, try visiting Roombareview to search for anawers or get help.

BTW, the rattling noise u hear is just the float inside the tank. Its normal.

Thanks! Using water and shaking vigourously dropped out a hairball from the inlet to the dirty water! That solved my problem!

Tried this on two occassions and both times and a hair dirt ball dropped out after a good shake!
