Shipping is between USD40-100 depending on speed of delivery and choice of service provider.

GST is about USD28.

Eh? How come your one looks like it is virtual wall and not lighthouse? Thot 560 shld come with vw/lighthouse.

Also yr base charger looks like older version.

Your's is the latest, no worries. It is manufactured 2 months ago, my roomba is always the latest version right from the warehouse.

Your homebase is the newer compact design, bro tekster one is the larger one which is actually the older one. 2010 model roomba all comes with auto VW instead of lighthouse and had already been more than a year. If you get those with lighthouse, it is like to be a 2007/2008 old roomba 560 which is no more in production. Only 570 and above comes with LH now, not even the remanufactured models.

Just now tried my roomba it's quite enought for me to cleaning whole floor.

but have to monitor and see the char have to move away or put properly,
if not will be stuck there a second and turn left and right.

Noise is quite ok for me.

but i found that something is the cabinet or rack is higher abit and same level for infrared head level, then it is will be stuck a bit more, i am worries about the infrared head hit to the cabinet wall edge until spoil.
it is will be happen, but i still dunno yet, have to monitor again.

Well, i only know vw blocks the roomba from entering restricted areas. V.lighthouse helps it to navigate from room a to room b to room c, Then back to charging base. So it is more useful in that sense, makes cleaning more autonomous. If you gonna clean 1 room at a time manually keeping an eye on it, that kinda defeats the purpose. Might as well get 530 which probably could be cheaper.

How old can it be anyways? If wanna really get new, then just buy the 6xx series la.

Some bros here still using 4xx series or even older. So i believe that it is not necessary to getting the newest latest model.

The problem is it is almost impossible to find a brand new 560 with LH now. All new models come with auto virtual wall. If you want a LH, you will need to get 570 and above. If you have the budjet or if you want a lower spec 530 that cleans 3 rooms, by all means.

The LH is great in directing roomba for a more efficient cleaning but that does not mean without it roomba will not clean all the rooms. It will still find it's way to all your rooms and clean. With scheduling, run it frequently and the odds is your whole house will be very well maintain.

By the way, 560 is not the newest or latest models. What I meant is it is manufactured only 2 moinths back so even the battery inside is very new. Latest version 7 firmware also has a better charging logic that is not so harsh on your battery and comes with the latest iAdapt navigation logic.

I'm glad you like it As for the turret head, there is an addon that increase the height but it will affect other obstacle.

I just brough the door frame cushion to tape my divider and tv console leg lower upper level.
Cause the Roomba can't Detector the lower upper edge level still can go in,
but it is block by Roomba infrared head.

Hope the cushion tape to protect and help the infrared head for long life.

Your room is a good example where LH is not suitable. It is only a small L-shaped cleaning area, imagine if you put a lighthouse there and roomba will spend around 25-35 mins banging here and there wasting battery life.

Roomba will navigate itself into most rooms as it will venture into wall following mode once a while thus making use of the wall to find the rooms.

The bumper guard I supply is of high quality silicon elastomer material from Germany unlike those you find supplied by others. It is very thick as you can feel the bouncing effect if you press in so it is good for your black or darked coloured furniture where roomba cant detect. As for the turret part, nice idea for you to wrap up those obstacle.

I'm sorry as I might not have the knowledge to service that robot yet Even if I could, you will not find any spares anywhere right now. The only chance you have is to return it back to US.
