I thought my Mint Plus can retired already. Look like still wanna used it for my bedroom.

I like Mint for the incredibly quiet task it does and low profile. It can even cover some areas not accessible to Roomba. Just that it doesn't really vacuum. I use it for 'wet' cleaning only. Hehehhee ...

Is this your 1st robotic cleaner?

Yea , I was observing it the whole time , it could get under the bed , chair , sofa and got into the bedroom that had a threshold, and it did a brilliant job of cleaning the edges , just that I don't know is it the first time running or what, it took quite a while with repetitions ,but still , the house is clean !

Yes, its one of the better bot $$$ can get it at this moment. Once u are used to such a clean environment done by a bot, it'll be hard to do it the manual way with a broom!!! :s8:

Its not about being better than a vacuum cleaner... its about not requiring u to do the job. U can spend your time on other things instead, giving u better quality of life so to speak. The robotic cleaner does the job for u. In addition, it can clean difficult to reach places where u normally wont clean as often or as well.

better than vacuum cleaner?
i using dyson now..but quite power consuming..

Agree w wiseone bro, it's about not having to do the manual vacuuming and also the freq of sweeping can be increased. Coming home to a clean home is a bonus w/o you lifting a finger once you start using a robovac!

For my case, I use to vacuum once or twice a week, depending on how lazy I am but since I start using Roomba, I basically run it twice a day when I am not at home daily, so comparatively it is much cleaner than previously. Only maintenance is to empty the bin and clean out the brushes like once a week.

You really got to to use to believe it's usefulness, I converted a few friends along the way and now they are like dreading to pick up the vacuum or broom. ;)

And one more thing the roboking can do is to transport your stuff from one room to another by placing the stuff on itself and using the remote control :)

Hi bros,

I just got a Roomba 560 last sat and tested it first run on my house with 1 week of dust. Totally shocking on the amount of dust it pick up. Super thick.

Very satisfied with the performance of my 560. Better than what i had expected. The edges is well cleaned.

The cons is that it cannot remember where it had cleaned and where did not clean. So some places might have been left out. I did a 2nd run at night and it collected huge chunk of dust again. May need to make it run 2 times a day in future.

Currently schedule for 1 run per day and see how well it maintained my floor first.

But overall very satisfied with the performance. At least i no need to wake up on sat morning cleaning the floor with my magic clean.

Hi, brother

Your roomba 561 is already come with Fw07 then you still want the Fw08??

I think in the market still not release yet.
Even the 700 series also using the Fw07 only.

Actually roomba is just so so loh, cause dun have lighthouse to guide your house compartment as well.

If you want your house cleaned much better picking up dust or hairs & store longer, just prefer you buy the extra AeroVac bin to instead it.
After used for while can gurranty you love the AeroVac bin so much :)

glad u are loving yr 560. :) I don't think you can schedule 2x a day w the Roomba, what I typically do is that I start it at abt 8am when I leave for wk, then set a schedule scan at 3pm for 2nd run. Hope this tip helps. ;)

Yes, agree w KS. Aerovac is a major improvement and simpler to maintenance. Anyone intending to get a Roomba shd look at getting a Aerovac bin if it doesn't come as standard for the model u are purchasing. ;)

U will know whats that when your bot breaks down and in between repairs/replacement, u are stuck with the BROOM... not the magical one... the !@#@@#@ thing that is doing a very poor job, stirring dust all over the place while u are struggling to reach into those tight corners with it. :s22:

BROOM? What's that?? Lolx!
