No brainer if u have the $$$ !!! :s13:
With regards to this comment, I was once thinking... Instead of trying to find the "be all, end all" pocket-burning single robot, what if I just get tons of cheap dumb-bots, each focusing on one zone.

We've already mentioned many cheap dumb-bots in this forum.
I've also come to terms that there isn't a bot that is suitable for all environments.

Just like Cookware, will u use a super-power pressure cooker to make a fried egg? That's when a tiny 12 cm frying pan comes into play.

If u look at mobile phones, there isn't one that suits everybody, cos something like that will be overkill & exceed average budget.

Scooba 380 or any other Scooba models function the same, except the tiny Scooba 230 which I'll not elaborate here. I've written here about Scooba 230 in the past, if u want more info, I can provide the links.

Whether or not Scooba performs as it should is down to ur luck, the maintenance u do & age of the robot (assuming older means used more).
There are things that user need to observe, they're stated in the manual (but who reads manual right?... I know.)

So pls don't take it that Scooba isn't a good machine, there is, To-Date, no substitute.

I'm one of owner that have issues w scooba, it's a bit of a hit n miss but the level of cleanliness of the floor is better than running the mop thru twice wo sweating buckets!

Bakasa also has 2x new Roomba 500 3rd party battery which are lemons. So yah, buying 3rd party is see ur luck.

Anyway, u can pass me to check Roomba & the battery. If ur 3rd party is new but proven weak, I can repair.

Nice to see a sentimental owner... good for the environment too! ;)
That's why Bakasa always say Roomba is hardy. Sure a bit of hiccups here & there, from misuse or wear & tear, but at least parts are easily available. I believe Dankoo's Discovery is from like 2007.

Its true, my 2 x 535 fr HSN are also fr 2007, it's still alive till today. In fact, they are giving me less problem than my current 581.
