is 2k enough for this set up

Quite difficult leh. My upcoming build doing for a friend is 2k with following.
Cpu 5600x-390sgd
Gpu Palit 3070 gaming pro oc-820sgd
Mobo Tuf b550m wifi-~260sgd(haven buy)
Psu 750w- 150sgd(haven buy)
Ram 2x16gb trident z neo 3600cl18-155sgd
Ssd 1tb sk hynix p31-145sgd
Case - 100sgd
Cpu cooler (arctic 34 freezer duo)- 65sgd

Total close to 2.1k. If go for cheaper case, mobo, cooler maybe can easily get closer to 2k build. But to upgrade to a 5800x is like 2.3k already.

few hundred dollars more but use for few years ... worth it.

My suggestion if u wan to stick to 2k budget with 5800x for some reason, u can get entry level 3060ti and oc a lower speed 16gb ram (pls get 2x8gb for dual channel for ryzens, not 1x16gb, its similar price but u get more performance). The ssd can probably opt for a cheaper non dram variant like sn550 (those should be pretty cheap on amazon). Power supply can probably opt for superflower 650w which is like 120sgd? But u still need a decent cpu cooler since 5800x has higher tdp and from what users say, it runs quite hot. If u dun need wifi can get a non wifi mobo also cheaper. And ofc opt for a cheap case if u have a strict budget, dont overspend for something like a case.

I also interested to know where to buy at 5600x at 390sgd... i think retail is 450sgd...

I buy on amazon with 15 usd off promo... now probably too late since its after the holidays. Amazon had it at 279 usd for a couple days in dec. This causes the calculated sgd price to be below 400 so no need pay export tax. I paid 293usd including shipping which is 390sgd using youtrip. Main thing is to join those discord with notification and if have amazon link, spam the add to cart until it actually shows oos even if it says error it may add to cart eventually. Amazon also limit purchase per account to 1 only so its not that impossible to get. It does require some kind of obsessive effort so also consider if u wan spend ur effort like this. I helped my friend to buy also with same way but his is like 406sgd since he dun have youtrip or similar cards haha.

Wasn't a code. Random email from amazon for the offer since i started a prime trial to buy some case fans and ssd during black friday sales. But searching holiday app offer on google also goes to the same offer page to collect the promo voucher haha. It probably ended already tho.
