Recently I accidentally dropped my MBP at home on the floor..
Immediately the screen went black, did some checks, my hard disk failed.

THANK GOD FOR APPLE CARE.

been using apple products (white Macbook, 13" mbp, 15" mbp, Macbook Air, iPhones, Mac Pro, iMac, iPod, iPads) since 2007 and not one with Apple Care. So far, been really lucky. I think it all boils down to your own experiences with electronic products.

Had three Apple laptops, all three with Applecare add-on.

1st two used until the Applecare warranty over, no issue.

3rd one with Applecare, change screen, change battery, within the warranty period. Lucky got the Applecare, both replacement are covered & no need to pay.

Where is the cheapest place to buy Apple Care for Macbook Pro? Is there a safe and reliable seller in HWZ?

Apple Care is highly recommended for Macbook, Macbook Air and Macbook Pro cause these are mobile computers the failure rate for mobile computers is slightly higher. Apple Care also gives you access to software support so I would say it worth every single bucks.
