Is iPod shuffle waterproof?

I'm planning to get iPod shuffle for jogging purposes. Would like to know if it is waterproof? Or do I need to get a casing for it?

how did you get the idea the ipod shuffle is waterproof? did you see someone swimming with it?

it probably would get spoilt if your sweat drips on it or you operate it with sweaty hands... maybe not immediately, but sooner or later.

why not put it in a running wallet that clips on to your shirt or waistband?
