If aeroplanes cannot even risk putting them for a few hrs in check in cargo, then my powerbanks got chance to chibaboom at home

i sometimes not at home for days

powerbank have been around for donkey years....there's millions of it left at home unattended during that period. do you hear of them catching fire?

Cannot, carry it with you all the time.

I think plane because got change in pressure. So if the powerbank is slightly damage, it will chibaboom

I think at home, if no charging or it use, I think should be ok.

powerbanks dont hold that much power compared to those electric bike batteries,

lower voltage too

Powerbanks in general pls store at 50-70 pct.
Lipo do not like being kept at full charge.

i keep my big RC packs in a Khong Guan tin. Bottom dry sand, on top sand in a plastic bag.

Battery banks I dun take any special precautions. But I only but brand name pieces from Xiaomi/Anker etc.

I have encountered banks with cells that fail. E.g one that drops to 2v whilst the others are at 3.7V. If the BMS doesn’t catch that and tries to charge a 3 cell pack to 3 cell voltage when one cell is fscked up, it could overcharge the other two. Booming good times.

keep all your li-ion in a pail of water so if it burns the water will auto extinguish

Put in your kitchen sink or leave on bathroom floor, if anything it will burn itself out. That's what I did if I'm go for holiday.
