Is it safe to link saving account with pay pal ?

Just open pay pal account ~

to withdraw funds from pay pal to my saving bank account .
or perhaps withdraw some money from my saving bank account to do online shopping.

the problem is ..Safe?

how long it take to withdraw and send funds to pay pal.


since I don't own credit card. Don't tell me go to apply because I don't like to use credit card.

sending money from saving account to pay pal account got any service charges?

same for withdraw money from pay pal account to saving account?

I read , it seem ....that if you want to withdraw , less than 200 dollars , they will deduct 1 dollar

whereas more than 200 dollars is free

next usually it will take 4 to 6 days ? apply for both tasks?

I'm not sure about the charges as I only use it to pay for online purchases.

You can create another savings account specifically for PayPal if you're worried. I myself limit the max amount of money I have inside the account linked to my PayPal.

I feel is funny perhaps is me? lol

you see if you haven't verify pay pal they cap your amount

but after verify you can remove the limit .

but in fact most of us want to limit to avoid some fraud , etc..incidents..like hack..etc..

I've my sg account linked to paypal for more than 5 years now - no problems so far.

They earn by giving you poor forex rate when you withdraw your money.

I have two friends who somehow got their PayPal hacked into. One had several outgoing transactions ( to get around the withdrawal limit imposed) until his account was kosong. He only found out about it weeks later.

Another one had a one time withdrawal which cleaned out his account. Lucky for him there was only $100+ inside.

huh , pay pal never email to them the transactions?

standard process right?

if any send/withdraw payment etc they will email the invoice , transactions...as record.

same apply for banks etc online accounts

so ..after verify ..

go back to limit the amount .....huh?

my paypal account kanna hack and someone use my cc and charge $300 GBP.

i have report to paypal and they take 2 wks to check and refund me back.
