From my experience if tp really wants to sell you something even if the price is already reduced like hell by Raman, you tell him you need to draw cash, and he will say nets also same

Most SLS shops price quote is for cash payment.
2% is added for net payment.
This is in practice for years since NET started to levy on merchants.

theres no "extra gst", gst is already included in the prices they quote. NETS is 2% extra nett

Where got extra gst? R u singaporean? Gst fixed at 7% la.

Nets got extra 2% and credit card is 3% processing fee.

You can't really complain because they don't explicitly charge you more for using NETS/CC, they just give you "cash discount".

...just to give some information...every nets payment the shop is required to pay up to 3% to nets for the use of it.and sometime the price of the product is already at cut throat price..and they need to absorb it as well...which is impossible which is why u ar required to pay 2% more when paying by nets..

You misunderstood a bit. By paying CASH you are getting slightly more discount than paying by CreditCard. Some shops regards NETS the same as CASH so ask first.

You can check this by seeing their pricelist(the paper thingy at counter).

For different reasons. Once had a chatty cabby talk to me about it. Comfort cabbies are more willing to accept cashless because they get money the next day. Other companies get it 3 days to 1 week later. They're not too happy because they would prefer to have the money come in earlier than later.

edit: you are automatically charged for the transaction fees, forgot how many % CC, 30cents for the rest

NETS will have extra charge on top of quoted price regardless. But if any consumer is intending using NETS, is it so hard to just withdraw cash beside SLS entrance before shopping?

If I pay by NETS, I end up paying 2% more? So the 2% more is stated on my receipt?
