Actually I post the same question in EDMW and CNA before, though there are not much replies. Do you think it is worth it to subscribe to these investors' site? Does it help with your selection of stocks?

Although I can do the same thing on my excel spreadsheet but somehow I find it easier to look at all the fundamental ratios in one go, before going in-depth into the calculations. Then those which did not meet the criteria, I can chuck it one side first.

im on the lowest plan. overall the tools are quite useful to me especially the customised portfolio view, news, etc.

becareful of the highest plan. some users are complaining about the live feed. the feedback forum was also close for suggestions recently and i was the last one who posted in that thread. i think they cant take it when people like me bombarding them about their platform shortcomings. :s13:

Both are different website. Sharesinv.com is cheaper than shareinvestor.com. 70 bucks per year.

Cheap lah. Stock and Commodities magazine cost US$570 for 5 years. If possible just pay by check so as to avoid auto renewal. Damn hard to cancel auto renew one.

Yes, but would it be worth it. As in, would it help in the selection of good stock by reading the news and using its tool? or would free sources be enough?

So do you think it is worth your money to subscribe to shareinvestor.com or do you think you could just made do without it?

For newbie, I suppose it's good. If don't like, it's just 1 year deal. Don't renew.

lol...now then i realised that in the beginning you were asking abt shareinv.com and there's actually shareinv.com & shareinvestor.com.

After having a feel at both of them,i am more inclined to pay for shareinvestor.com their mobile app feels very pro imho.

ok. I have not used shareinvestor.com and was never on its trial before. For sharesinv.com, they have this stock screening that allows you to choose the highest ROE stock and there is also information on Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) over a few years.

They also have a relative comparison of the P/E of each stock to the sector on a bar chart. Of course, the CAGR can be calculated but the formula is quite complicated. More importantly, it is cheaper than shareinvestor.com at about $70 per year, which is about $5.80 per month.

Hi there,

May I know anyone who is a subscriber to Sharesinv.com ? I would like to make a comparison. I subscribed before quite some time ago it does have 10 year financial data. But currently I bought a 1 year subscription, the 10 year data has become only 5 year data.

Any of you having same issues ?

actually wad do u need 10 yrs of fundamental data for lol?
10 year data is a good gauge to see if the company is able to overcome the crisis and what happens to its fundamentals during a crisis (e.g. GFC).
