Is Kinmen worth visiting?

What is there to see and do in Kinmen during the hot summer season? Is a day trip or 2d1n trip better?

Kinmen not bad, next time i want try. Taiwan's offshore islands mainly more of scenic attractions one. Kinmen last time used to be battle frontline, so there got many of history element there.Good if you like history, for me i find it interesting.

Or you can try going matzu island. Now is the "lan yan lei" period i think, very nice :)
