Ah gong will say, “if we had not intervened on very personal matters – when you get married, how many wives / husbands you have, how many children you have, we would not have made economic progress. And I say this without the slightest remorse.”

Then he would probably enshrine in the constitution that all BBFA get at least a wife / husband - foreign or domestic and have children. No DINK, no pet-rents.

Depends on how u look at it. Short term ppl thinks monogamy is nonsense. Long term ppl think monogamy is important.

In life you need three wife.
"First" wife for reproduction.
"Second" wife because bored of first wife.
"third" wife to take care of each other.

Second wife that u marry because of fun and enjoyment. That wife will leave u once u r no longer fun n enjoyable to her.

The problem is it is not easy to find the third wife who can take care of u. U probably need to be in care of others.

The guy who has monogamy will be able to "enjoy" the three type of wife with the same person.

Biologically speaking, not exactly normal. All living things have an innate instinct to reproduce and ensure their line continues.

Mating with more prospects will have a higher chance of reproduction.

However, there is another side - ensuring the offspring survives.


Due to human evolving complex social behaviors, most human offsprings that have a single pair of devoted/monogamous father and mother do better than those who do not. They get better care, more resources, and because they tend to do better in life, they have better chances of producing their own offspring. Since this is advantageous, the cycle continues.

Ensuring 1 offspring survives and can reproduce is better than having a dozen offsprings who will die before reaching adulthood.

Hence, human males no longer need as much sperm to imprenate multiple females and have evolved smaller balls. Human testicles weigh in at around 50 grams. Chimpanzees, have balls weighing 150 grams.

Imagine chimps are our size, their balls will weigh half a kg...
