your's considered mid high end last year. but now is not worth upgrading.. wait for broadwell or haswell refresh, is coming soon.
You can play most games developed today at medium settings.

Haha actually I bought my mobo and CPU listed as 2nd hand just last month. And considering CPU performance has stagnated since sandy bridge i won't be upgrading for a long long time.:D and over clocked at 4.4ghz it should fly with even future games using a lot of CPU power.

Maybe the gpu as bros here has suggested. :(

if scared that crucial ssd spoil need to rma, buy Intel instead.

Intel RMA is they send ppl to your doorstep to collect from you for RMA, costs paid by them :D

SSD not that easy spoil. And now intel 530 is selling for $165 usd. Not worth. Cheapest was $149. Unless you can get around $190 for it in marketplace locally (those that are reselling it), m500 would be a better choice right now.

Perhaps you want to refresh it with a new chassis (along with new R9-290X and SSD)? =:p

lazy to buy another case from sls then need to carry home. very troublesome! :(

furthermore my old casing will be collecting dust one side. very unsightly.

Sell Centurion 5 away lor....

And buy from fortran/t258jgn... with free delivery... :s12:

It will probably require just slightly additional effort removing all other organs from your current chassis since you are already changing to SSD and new GPU mah... :D
