Is Newegg reliable?

Anyone of you here buy stuff regularly off Newegg?

How reliable are they compared to say, Amazon, Lazada, Shopee, or even Taobao when it comes to getting your components?
Have they ever screwed up an order?

I've heard/read horror stories about the Interwebs about their crap customer service when it comes to RMA or returning items that were sent wrongly or damaged.

I've always gotten most of my stuff off Amazon/Lazada, but the stuff that I want currently is only instock on Newegg. Hence the question.

Bought a few items from Newegg, all no issues so far. Nvr had the chance to chat with their CSO coz no issues. Warranty/RMA is to the respective brands in USA. Nvr try the 30-days return policy.

But make sure items are sold by Newegg. They are same as Amazon whereby 3rd party sellers uses them as a platform to sell stuff. In that case, Newegg/Amazon cant help much if anything goes wrong between u and 3rd party seller.

Newegg charges gst even if u buy below 400sgd, but amazon charges gst only if u buy above 400. So what I did is use ezbuy to forward my newegg purchase, they have free delivery in the states. They charge quite high international delivery fee.

What item are u trying to buy? Some things just take time to restock.

Saw it on Amazon a couple of weeks ago. Decided to pull the trigger last night, but it went out of stock already.
Newegg's the only one who has them in stock ATM.

For Newegg, u need to enter 2nd payment page. It will remove the GST if it is below $400 including shipping fee.

Also, for now, Newegg Singapore has free international shipping to SG with $280 spending. Not the Newegg global.

They probably will at this time. That time i faced alot of delays because its the holiday season + black friday sales + covid demand. My package took 2 weeks to deliver to my US address.

Right items and in good condition should be 99%. As for on time, it will depends on the courier as well. DHL and fedex have some delays due to high demand but limited flights. So no choice as well.

Newegg is fine, just usually has very expensive delivery if you don't hit the minimum spending.

I rmb seeing it ley. Anyway i ended up paying in usd to use better conversion rates since I used forwarder, otherwise the savings not there.

I bought mobo, cpu, ssd, rams, heck even casing and monitor from there before. All came in good condition and the correct item. It was direct free shipping, they stopped giving free shipping for bulky items like 2 years ago.

Changed to $350 since start of the year lo. So if you want to skirt GST, only have $50 window to play

Newegg has been in the business for a looking time. Don't think there's any real risk as far as credibility is concerned, but as with any international purchase, just accept that it may be more troublesome to resolve issues.

If it's shipped by Newegg direct it's generally reliable, however your mileage may vary if it's sold by third party seller. I personally had good exchange experience with them before (newegg direct), they shipped me a new case and told me to keep the old one (probably the return shipment cost not worth it for them) so I ended up having 2 cases for the price of 1

Newegg is fine but I prefer Amazon over Newegg..

Amazon Customer Service better , price can match or sometime even cheaper than Newegg and shipping is less expensive and faster too
