Is Pixio screen good?

Pixio ( certain models ) are usually regarded as bang for buck.

HW unboxed have done quite a few reviews for Pixio monitors before.
You can check their videos for more info.

Can be purchased from Amazon US too.

Pixio and Asus also use the same panda panel. I rmb u say the panel cmi on Acer model.

Yeah different panel grades. Grade A/A+ vs A- was the case for the korean 1440p monitors many years back.

Factory calibration of the panel by each brand can play big part in how the monitor performs out of box.

And as mentioned above same panel can have different grades. Just like how different silicon batch can affect overclocking ability of the same processors model.
