Agree, even with manuals like 太乙金华宗旨, people nowadays wouldnt even bother practising the methods inside. I suppose not only need talent 资质 but also 信念. Unfortunately, the last revolution saw many of the ancient texts being destroyed on the pretense of wiping out superstition / old thoughts. I always think the good parts of tradition should pass on to the next generation.because not everyone can practice. need talent.
and not everyone can advance far enough
to know if you have talent. breathe in through your nose slowly and steadily over 10 seconds. do you feel the flow of qi through your body to the dantian?
i can since young .but most are unable to pick up and feel this flow. perhaps they once could but lost this innate ability as they grow up.
especially if they smoke their lungs away
Not Qigong but....As in can use the Qi heal body etc.
Guy transfer qi to girl yes. Guy transfer to guy no need. I watch TV is like that.is it true that need to be naked when transferring Qi power from one person to another??? i read them in wuxia novels

It is sad that most of the Chinese insights are being explored in the democratic world than the country of its origin. i.e The thousands year old meridian system is slowly being proven by the West. Very soon I believe they would made use of the understanding to revitalise traditional medicine. In the past, to be an accomplished martial artist, one needs to understand the body, the meridians before going into qigong then its application to martial arts. With the advancement in AI, the process might be shortened and angmos could well be on their path into qigong masters. Then the Chinese will as usual attempt to reclaim their heritage by stealing their efforts.

Nothing is too late de. Have faith! Keep cultivating.when young i always play around with this inner flow of energy or qi.

The Qi is powerful
Try reading the Pali Nikaya, it is relatively well preserved. Information are expressed directly and clearly unlike Chinese Taoist texts with secret jargons. 太乙金华has many interpretations because of that.Agree, even with manuals like 太乙金华宗旨, people nowadays wouldnt even bother practising the methods inside. I suppose not only need talent 资质 but also 信念. Unfortunately, the last revolution saw many of the ancient texts being destroyed on the pretense of wiping out superstition / old thoughts.
