have never liked them, their UI really hard to understandif not wrong they are the number 1 ecommerce website in terms of traffic for quite a few years up till recently like 2018/2019.....
then Shopee grew so fast that it took over the number 1 spot in the last 1-2 years....
Lazada has always been solid in number 2 position for many years and has start to put some pressure on Shopee....
Even Amazon Sg has overtaken Qoo10 in terms of traffic liao.....
Unless some drastic strategic changes are made at Qoo10......i think it will fade out soon
they were like number 1 for 5-6 years without much competition...Lazada tried overtaking them but failed....then Shopee came took away a lot of their customers....then finally Lazada managed to beat Qoo10....their workforce so small. how fight.. sure close down/sell off within 1-2 years
this kind of ecommerce marketplace....in Sg i dont think can accommodate more than 2 very big players....you can be the 3rd player but not sure whether sustainable a not profit wise....there are a lot more competitions so ...
3rd player don't think it is worth it.. unless u ready to pour billions to dislodge the first and 2nd players....Bytedance can be the 3rd player. buy over qoo10, rebrand and change the structure
Customers that only want to pay by cash when shopping online will be less than 5% nowadays..Only Q10 allows for simple AXS payments for those without a credit card which is a must on the other platforms
I will ask a credit-card owner friend to buy for me if I need to buy something much cheaper or not available on Q10 eg Vit A-D3-K2(MK7) with the max strengths from amazon
Sometime claimed some voucher but here cannot use, there cannot use. like wasting time.As business owner previously selling on Qoo10, I can say tat Qoo10 is really losing lots of biz to other ecommerce platforms as Qoo platforms isn't as user friendly as others. And tis started few yrs ago. Nowadays, their sales offer are not as attractive.
just press the top sales can liao.i find shopee more confusing than q10.
shopee got too many fluffy small sellers hard to filter.
q10 can buy cheap accessories leh
Ya, the applicability of the vouchers is very restrictive and confusing. Tis is one of the major complaints fr biz owners and buyers to Qoo10. But after so many yrs, no improvement.Sometime claimed some voucher but here cannot use, there cannot use. like wasting time.
