Hi guys,

Need some advise from you guys.
Recently i noticed my rig being too loud and the temp seem quite abnormal when i was playing games such as CS GO

I used the open hardware monitor and played a few round of CS GO.

Result as follow:

Intel Core i5-3470
Min Max
| +- CPU Core #1 : 45°C 80 °C
| +- CPU Core #2 : 47 °C 84°C
| +- CPU Core #3 : 48 °C 85 °C
| +- CPU Core #4 : 44 °C 80°C
| +- CPU Package : 48 °C 85 °C

AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series

| +- GPU Core : 45 °C 87 °C

Is the temp being too high?
Kindly advise.

Thank you.

Ya very high. Not enough airflow out of case?

Add fan to blow out. If doesn't improve change default CPU hsf

Is the CPU like 3years old? Might be a good time to repaste the thermal paste on it.

TS, state your casing as well as intake & exhaust fans.
