I have contacted them and they told me that the degree awarded here is exactly like the one in the home campus in Australia and it has no mention of Singapore anywhere. Is it a good programme? And can get job here with that degree?

What course are you taking? If you are taking BEng (EEE) or BEng (ME), it is not recognized by PEB Sg to become a PE. So this degree will not be recognized by government/public sector.

In short, this is not the same as studying in home campus because this is a distance learning degree and not a on campus degree.

What about if I want to work abroad? They said it has the exact same degree as home campus so I really think if I end up doing my masters in Australia I can get a good job there. My a level grades were BBB so I’m thinking I start here then transfer to their home campus for year 2 and year 3, graduate there and do my master there.

Even if you study in PSB or other PEI for the whole engineering course, you will not have a problem with Engineers Australia (EA) to become a PE.

You study there does not mean auto get PR and the most you will get is around 1 year vista to stay there while looking for a job. If you cannot find a job mean you needs to fly home (and it may not worth your ROI) cause they give their citizen first priority.

I also have the grades that are higher than the requirement for guaranteed entry for UniMelb, should I go there for my undergraduate? It’s 32nd rank in the world

Yes it’s a bachelor of science rather than engineering. I’m also looking to do Mechanical engineering. Could you PM me your friends contact so I could ask him a few questions?
