Partial payment maybe can. Partial installment I do not think any shop will allow this.

And some bank will charge you card fees cos they knew you can't cannot the card or if you decide to settle the repayment early, there's processing fees too.

Usually u choose instalment, they divide from principal sum over repayment period

Say u choose 12months, but u choose to redeem first 6 months with initial payment, at most they don't disturb u for next 5 months?

Yap. last 2 months i checked 12 was still on 0%. Only recently change to 5%. I thought the 12 0% will stay until this yr end but it didn't.

You can tell the shop you want pay $700 cash and charge remaining amount to card.
Then login to Internet banking and convert the amount to installment.
