Is there any way to do selective iMessage?

As per title, I want to use normal message with my gf (owns iphone 6) and iMessage for other friends.

Last time can press and hold send to switch between SMS and iMessage. Seems like cannot liao

so there is no other way is it? if both iphone, die die imessage? Cannot leave imessage on and select to send as text message?

if you want to send as text message, then have to switch off cellular data before sending.
but you might receive as imessage whenever your cellular data is switched on.

Remove your phone number to received or send iMessage.. Use only Apple ID to send iMessage..

Setting -> message -> send & received... Uncheck your mobile number..

can't do that. My number is grey out. Means by default is my mobile number. Can only delete my apple ID
