Not much of a problem, just that B85, MX 100 might be hard to find.
I think can go easy on the ram. Get 2*4GB?

1) Slightly overkill CPU. i5 4460 can already.

2) Overkill RAM. 8GB good enough.

3) Might want to prepare an alternative choice of mobo in case there is no B85 Killer left in stock.

This build is almost the same mine, difference was only i have 8g ram and using windows 7. Performance wise is good for all games at ultra at the moment.

No. Your system will still perform the same, just that you will be paying more $$$ for a more expensive mobo. Would rather that you get something cheap like a MSI H97 PC Mate instead.
