Is this electrical cable extension setup safe?

Due to the layout of my room, I have been using this electrical cable extension multi plug set up for the past 2 years. Thinking back, wondering is it recommended to do so or not.
the set up is like this:

Main Wall socket

Multi plug of 4
-For charging hp
-Digital Piano
-Fan
-Link to the next multi plug

Multi plug of 5
-Monitor
-Speaker
-Wireless modem mesh
-Fan
-PSU(PC)

So far so good, but scared to overstress the voltage.. anybody can do a quick review? thanks!

If all equipment power consumption add up below 3000W,then should be fine. Also check if your extension cords have safety mark?

Yes, both have the safety mark. But as for the 3000W, not sure about it

One day, when you are able to spare some cash, can get an electrician to redo the wiring in your room to either add more power outlets and redirect the power outlets to areas of the room where you have your items at. Should cost around $90 and upwards.
Safer and not to mention, no longer have to deal with wiring clutters throughout the room.

Do some maths for the total power draw and the current in the mains. As long as the extension and socket can support should be fine.

If you fear electrical trip or overload which is unlikely
cuz these does not consume a lot of electricity.

If you have the budget, get a electrician and ask them
to do either two separate power points.
One power point for your first than the other for your
second set.

- Make sure you power off everything at night or when nobody at home

- Check and see any plug or socket is warm (something like overloading or wrong)

- Power on 1 device at a time and not power on all device at 1 shot. otherwise might trip.

All these are low consumption except for the PSU which maximum can draw around 300-400W or so. Thus the others are way below that of the PSU.

I guess the precautions to take note is to make sure that the various chargers have no problem on their own and not overheat, ala the Samsung Galaxy 7 chibaboom case. As long as this is settled, then not much issue.

Perhaps also can consider getting a single 8-way extension instead of daisy-chaining the two extension.

If you can then it would be better to plug the high load devices (e.g. PC) into the multi plug closest to the wall socket. This would then avoid having the load from multiple devices going through 1 socket of the extension lead and then you only have one extension carrying high current so needing thicker cables. Keeping them off the floor and checking the plug pins are not getting corroded can also be a good precaution.
Extension leads usually fail at the contact point with the plug pins, they often are not as robust as the wall sockets, they can corrode over a few years, causing resistance which creates heat, which further increases corrosion/resistance at a certain point it avalances and the plug catches fire.

anyway i dont think i will ask a electrician to build a wall socket as i will be moving into my new bto flat in around 2 years time, so in the meanwhile.. hope nothing happens!
