So i sold an earphones covered with warranty until May 2020. After i sold them, the buyer said it has defect on the right side and asking for a refund but i refused.

1) Buyer should be responsible for own product
2) Buyer should covered all fees after already made the purchased

Should i ignore or give the buyer the refund that the buyer insisted

just because it has warranty, it doesn't mean you can wash your hands off the product. Basic courtesy is to not sell a spoilt or malfunctioning product. Even if there is a problem, the least u can do is help to RMA. If that guy can't wait for rma, just refund, u RMA and sell again lo

I didnt know that the product was malfunctioning and buyer should expect most of the time theres no refund policy on carousell unless the product was physically damaged before

i think you're missing the point. It's really not about any sort of 'refund policy'. I'm leaning more towards ethical trading. If you don't feel any remorse then you don't need to do anything since the product has warranty. However, since you asked the question here, I believe you do have a moral dilemma and it's best to take the higher ground.

You should test the product first before selling, unless its a brand new not opened product thats a different case.

And buyer should do thorough check before handing over money.

Just refund the buyer, RMA the unit and try to sell again but this time indicate that you just RMA the unit so the next buyer can purchase with more assurance.

BTW what brand is this earphone?

Some of these audio products are not defective actually.... only that they perform badly in certain environment where there are electronic interference.
