That is not what I am saying. What I am saying is that changing the ruling party gives the current opposition a lot of power to decide the fate of the nation. They can stop the whole jurong economic centre from developing, cut off ties from malaysia, etc. Albeit extreme, it is a clear example of what incompetent people may be able to do to our beloved nation.

Sure, the change may also result in the opposition doing the following:

Removing all FTs from our nation seems to be a natural solution to many of our problems. But if we take them away, who is going to do their jobs? Nowadays, Singaporeans have been spoonfed for generations. Who here is still willing to partake in the jobs that these FTs have been doing? FTs contribute to our nation through taxation and other economical means, they do not have the privilege to use our social welfare system here and yet, their presence are never appreciated by our nation.

That's quite a strawmen you built. Nobody said to remove all the FT.

And should a system collapse with the tightening of FT, then perhaps we should acknowledge that its a **** up system built up after all.

2) sinkie guys won't have jobs in SG, must go work as construction workers
3) everywhere will become slums
4) more crimes, rapes, and siao langs
5) more homeless

Nope not at all - this is for the betterment of Singapore's future, almost a no-brainer if you think of the big picture

1. More alternative voices towards at least 1/3 representation
2. Making incumbent work harder for Singapore for every future GE

They can stop the whole jurong economic centre from developing, cut off ties from malaysia, etc. Albeit extreme, it is a clear example of what incompetent people may be able to do to our beloved nation.

Sure, the change may also result in the opposition doing the following:

1) Remove COE, make cars a more affordable mode of transport to all.
2) Revoke work permits for foreigners, remove immigration policies in place that favours foreigners.
3) Lower housing prices to make it more affordable to the younger generation.

Sure, these are popular measures to take, and provide an immediate solution to the pressing matters that we currently face. However, are you willing to see thousands more cars on the roads overnight? Endless jams regardless of the time and location?

Removing all FTs from our nation seems to be a natural solution to many of our problems. But if we take them away, who is going to do their jobs? Nowadays, Singaporeans have been spoonfed for generations. Who here is still willing to partake in the jobs that these FTs have been doing? Let the opposition get into Parliament first then they can debate economic policy and arrive at a balanced outcome.

The way things are skewed now, there are no counter balances and that is alarming. Just consider how all the PAP mps said yes to 6.9 million. The dangers of group think.

Also you sure Singaporeans dont want to do those jobs that the FT have been stealing? And I am not referring to jobs like construction workers, road sweepers or maids. Its obvious these new citizens are here to prop up the votes.

It has been 4 years since the last election. Let the results speak for themselves.

Singaporean graduates are already having a tough time finding jobs under PAP's excessively pro-FT economic policies.

YES. IMPOSSIBLE. Those morons expect the opposition to be PERFECT in all aspects while turning a blind eye to the screw ups by the elite MIWs... Super wtf... They totally disregard the importance of a fair election. The gerrymandering is an insult to all Singaporeans.

But all I see on FB from those supporters are why Opposition is making so much noise, the clues are there all along... They are so ill prepared, how to allow them to run the country etc

If those of you who are expecting things to change... Face it. You will still see the usual excuses such as oppo is not good enough, I need to apply for BTO so cannot vote against PAP, I am in civil service so cannot bite the hand that feeds me, AHPTEC screwed up neglecting the screw ups by PA and other organisations..

Change? No sane capable person will stand up and represent idiots. So there will be no change. SG is still far.. Buy more lubricants to prepare for 5 more years of ass rimming policies..

I think many people are afraid, and PAP actually THRIVE on this climate of fear and they rely on this to stay in power and continue paying themselves MILLIONS while 3/4 of citizens struggle in one form or another. :X

1. Many dunno wtf is going on, mostly charbor and silver Gen.
2. Those who know, mostly dun care think their votes dun matter at all.
3. Those who care, mostly defeatist, think not possible for pap to lose.
4. Those who are not defeatist, mostly think they can work the system, play the game rather than try to change the rules.

Omg..... u totally spoke the reasons for why i voted pap the last 2 times.

Im very strongly with point 3 and 4

Guess you have already conceded that the incumbents have turned this nation into a failed one-party state and let down its children and their parents. MOE, NUS ftw! ;)
