how come I always see IS 250 owners saying there is no crack

or sticky panel on their ride

just curious

how come can have this sticky issue

is it the material used that causes this or the type of glue

used that gave this problem

and why only Lexus or Camry which is the top end

model of Toyota model that have this problem

Usually due to long periods of parking under the sun. :zonia:

Long Exposer to sun, esp when u park open space never put sun shade.

Can be as bad as steering wheel melting

toyota really cmi as they are a jap giant car makers

own a 07 model..if u look at jd power reports, its top in terms of reliability

insurance is about 1.4k for me, no ncd compre

fc about 1L to 10.6km, max theoretical is 10.9KM

maintenance is ok, so far no issues just tyre change. normal servicing i.e engine oil and air/oil filter around $100 for every 5k mileage

and yes the melting dashboard issue is real, but yet to happen for me

if roadtax is not an issue

this is the best car to keep for 10 years

06 model = say 30k
10 year coe = 60 k

total 90 k - dep 9 k

where to find a 9k car that can gv u everything

usually all cars... vw was as bad... interior roof sheets dropping like old cars lol vios and altis for the dash are mostly hard plastic no adhesive...

Happen to quite a number of Toyota model.. U ever hear Honda or Nissan got this issue no right? My colleague is250 already scrap recently this yr got the panel cracking issue but that can be redo outside if u decided to renew ur Coe.. Maintainance quite ok ma still cheaper than conti..

Not all cars la.. Last time my accord condition sibei Ho.. Mostly conti car roof sheets dropping after 4-5yrs if u frequently park under hot sun reason they are made mainly for their side where can tahan sg weather f hot.. :s13:
