Ish a certain moderator abusing his power?

Dear whoever,

Can you explain why got this mysterious moderator shifted ALL the Korean/Taiwanese/American tv show/movie/variety show discussion threads except Ottoke's?

ish it because he's secretly a mod and abusing his power?

Proof that someone gave me that Ottoke has this "thread shifting" ability

A lot of popular threads have been shifted to the " TV-Mania & AnimeMania" section with no reason given

Includes the popular running man thread, korean drama thread, TVB thread etc.

I asked the EDMW moderator what happened and he told me to find the TV moderator

I asked the TV moderator Jerry007 to shift back to EDMW and he gave me a stupid excuse that my thread has diverted from discussion so should not be shifted. The only one who kept trying to divert attention in my thread was Ottoke.


And I also find all of Ottoke's TV threads to be intact in EDMW

Please explain what's with all these double standards.
Especially when Ottoke got some secret thread-shifting power in place.

To clarify your queries, we have split it into different sections:

Moderator
Ottoke is not one of our moderators. If you have no idea how our junior mods/mods/senior mods avatar looks like, you can check out some examples:

Junior Mod: Perisher, Hisashiburi
Mods: Petpet, Vulpix
Senior Mods: Lyfeforce, Dragon

Ottoke's reply
Some of our kind EDMW folks occasionally will pop by to answer the questions that other forum users will post in the feedback section. But that doesn't mean that they are our "secret" moderators.

And FYI, we don't have secret moderators in the forum.

Moving of threads
Threads are moved out of EDMW on the basis of the following:
- A suitable category to house the thread
- whether they can sustain on their own for a longer term
- Special case where it is move to CAL: Questionable threads

Running man is an example where they fulfilled the first 2 criteria.

Occasionally we have threads that can only stand on its own for a short period of time (in this case, drama threads), we will allow the conversation to grow in EDMW before moving out to the TV mania section.

We also have cases like http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/eat-drink-man-woman-16/eat-fats-lose-fats-5121990.html, where we come to an agreement with the forum users that should the discussion thread moves on to part 2, we will move the part 1 back to its designated section.

If you do not believe us, you can try asking john hanley, carey or aaur4man in the eat fats to lose fats thread.

If you are unclear, you can always feedback here. So there isn't a need for you to make a big fuss in EDMW.

And of course, a lot of threads haven't been move lately because we have been busy with handling the general election threads and also our own junior moderator elections.

So thank you for the reminder once again for us to start moving threads. And FYI to the folks who are reading this, kindly bookmark/subscribe to your threads. We will drop everyone a note in the discussion thread before we start our moving thread exercise.
