Issue with Gigabyte Gtx660 OC

My monitor don't work with this graphic card for some reason.. the graphic card isn't faulty(worked on my friend's computer) but my monitor just can't detect it (total black screen with a text saying no connections) Im also using HDMI cable but it just dont work.. Can anyone help me out with this problem??

maybe motherboard didnt detect the graphic card or loose connection

-clear cmos/go bios set pci-e
or
-set monitor to hdmi input.
-reseat the graphic card slot and monitor hdmi cable
