Issue - System randomly hangs every hour

Tried shifting the RAM to different slots - no diff.
Tried testing each RAM stick by itself - no diff.
Tried unplugging HDD (bro said he heard grinding noises) - no diff.
Tried running Prime95 - system hanged (no overclock)
Tried removing side window and blasting a fan (thinking it was overheat) - no diff.

thanks fortran for the advice to update SSD firmware, issue seems to have been resolved.

now the only problem that remains is that the system cannot recover from sleep mode.. It'll just remain a blackscreen/no signal to the display
