Issues with sending out Yahoo mails

Common issue on yahoo mail. I had issue sending out through Microsoft office mail application(windows 7) as well.

Download yahoo mail app on your IOS device instead.

Don’t trust yahoo mail after their security breach many years ago.

They have the worst security if u compare with gmail.

Able to receive emails on the iOS native mail app setup for Yahoo! Account but not able to send out emails. Keep receiving error message on wrong login or password etc.

Tried manual setting but still have the same issue.

How I solve it:
Turn on less secure access to your Yahoo account by clicking here: https://login.yahoo.com/account/security#other-apps and turning on ‘Allow apps that use less secure sign-in’.

If you are concerned of security breach then you may not want to try this approach. However, for a quick fix you can use this method and then turn it off after you sent out your emails.

Hope Apple have a fix for this soon. Alternatively is to download Yahoo mail app and use that to manage your yahoo account.

I also realized today I can’t sent email out using iOS native mail app. Wonder maybe the new update causing the issue . For the time being I just use yahoo app.

my yahoo mail in ios default mail app behaving weird these few days

sometimes it will auto re-download all the old mails and then all incoming mails will default to trash folder

now can't even receive incoming mail

using yahoo mail app as a temporary measure
