the pricing is quite similar, at most a few $ discounts...

Anyone bought laptops from Taiwan before?

Was thinking of getting something like an Asus S56.
Wonder if there are any issues to take note of:
- warranty
- O.S. in Chinese (?)
- power adapter only meant for 110V ac

etc etc

If price <10% diff from Singapore, then not worth it at all...

I went to Kaohsiung in Dec 2013. I found the Asus and Dlink routers to cost 40% less then in Singapore.

ASUS notebooks or other products?

I found a couple of sites selling notebooks. With my poor chinese, it seems that prices are about 10-15% cheaper (like S$900 vs $1100 for a simple 15.6" model)? Can't figure out all the details regarding the specifications.
