Just asking out of curiosity, why do they always ask us not to sign on the line in the SAF?

Any kind soul willing to explain it to me?? Thanks! :o

you are supposed to sign in the box.

the lines denotes the boundaries of the box, so by signing on the line, you are no longer in the box.

because when you cross into other people's box, you invalidate their signature.

it does not make sense for the box to be printed so small either

to you, it is just 1 box, to the armskote men,it is hundreds of boxes. To the DO, it is thousands of boxes. For 1 day.

you will probably never get it until you have to handle the paperwork yourself.

and i dunno about your unit, but I think the size mine printed is quite reasonable. standard foolscap paper lining which is commonly used in school.
