Hi All, i am reading about self study for ITIL foundation. Can anyone suggest me the books to read and i can google for the mock exams right?

I know how to book for the exam but not sure on the self study materials though. Anyone can advise?

Be careful with the sample exam questions online. I've seen questions with wrong answers. Also, since there's V2, V3, V3 2011, there are tons of questions online that don't identify which ITIL version they are created for.

I just signed up ITIL foundation at COMAT. The sales person told me exam is on the last day of class, that means I have no time to prepare for exam. I am wondering to postpone it. Any bros, can advise?

I already start reading the exam guide.

The site is definitely outdated... ITIL is no longer called Version 3 as that has been phased out.. the current version is known simply as ITIL : 2011 Edition

Honestly, the Foundation exam is not difficult to pass and there are tons of materials available out there in the Internet. But sometimes, it is always good to hear from actual practitioners as many organizations implement ITIL differently and their experience will more often than not, be an eye opener for many of us.... and that is only possible in a classroom training

Taking the exam on the last day means that the concepts are fresh in your mind and you will be able to recall them better

Delaying it by one week supposedly gives you more time to prepare... question is, are you really disciplined enough to devote time to the studying?

COMAT is not the only training centre that schedules the exam on the last day, in fact most of the other training centres do the same thing with pretty good results as well

Exam? You can't take the V3 exam/course even if you wanted to. It's all ITIL 2011 now.

I took my v3 at iss nus cuz got citrep subsidies. It will come with a thick book.
