hi, i need some help.

hello, can i confirm if i going cingjing farm and stay, the booking reservation is this site (wuling farm)? because i had a hard time finding it and i think there are others who told me got a few guesthouses there (above cingjing) so i am not sure which is under the farm or whatsoever.

ONLINE RESERVATON

my draft itinerary as follows..
day 1 - morning arrive at taoyuan airport about 5+am. will wait for the data card counter to open.. meanwhile is there any place we can eat breakfast at that timing? after that take bus #705 to taoyuan hsr to taichung hsr. then take the nantou bus to cingjing farm. the bus stop is quite nearby to the farm?

day 2 - also at cingjing farm to explore. the green green land or something. all these details i still yet to obtain because trying to translate a lot of things from the site information.

day 3 - check out in the morning and proceed to taichung cityinn hotel (probably, haven't book). my main aim is to go fengjia nm. so other than that i am not sure where else to explore.

day 4 - thinking to stay at taichung or proceed to taipei

day 5,6 - in taipei stay around tms hotels. explore shida nm, xmd, wufenpu, jiufen (have yet to sort out the location and sequence)

day 7 - 3+pm flight... check out 12pm and proceed to airport (enough time?)

the idea is about as above. going to book the hotels soon so would like to check if i am on the right track. please help me as much if can. i am a noob at directions and understand mandarin. i can get lost in singapore, so i am quite stress and afraid for the taiwan. :o i thought of engage driver, but one thing it is expensive, and i also want to experience public transport so that next time i can come back again myself.

i also reach taoyuan airport at that time, most of the people there head to the 7-11 and start buying the local food and drinks for breakfast but i think you are not chinese so not sure if you can eat them but theres bread, pastries and coffee , then walk down a bit to buy the bus tickets

Taoyuan T2 got sell food, so dun worry about it.

If you want to go fengjia nm, maybe you want to try to book beacon hotel. Last year I stayed in cityinn and flag down a taxi to go to fengjia, the taxi driver said too crowded to drive there. this was a sunday.

taichung nothing much, so i'd suggest you go to taipei after a night stay.

in taipei, shida nm got nothing much after the govt "raided" that place. I'll suggest you go to raohe nm after wufenpu. if you have not been to shilin nm, i'll recommend visiting it. it may not be as good as before, but it is still not bad a place to walk and eat.

You can also consider going to danshui, taipei zoo and taking the gondola.

if you want to visit fengjia nm, better to stay near it, so beacon hotel is a good choice, else city inn in taichung also good, as it is near yizhong st nm.

If u dun mind lug lugguage to fj area, then find accomodations there. If not nearby has cityinn which is relatively new and has breakfast provided at its own cafe, compare to minsu in e city which seldom provides them

If minsu usually direct, hotels then check ezfly, travelking or direct. Just book whichever is cheapest.
:)

i went to read the thread on which to book, seems like agoda is one of the best since they say earn points. i will check later on those that you mentioned. :) thanks a lot !

points are just the little perks which cannot beats booking with this two other after conversion.

U may try as many options as you can as long as you get the best bang for your bucks.

You asked in July and now is Oct. Actually when is your trip?

i also want the booking to be in sgd and fully paid now if through these sites. some are estimated quotes and may charged in foreign currency after that, or charged upon check in, which i do not want.

unable to translate to english.. lol.

the pricing seems like more expensive than agoda

nope. same or cheaper than agoda. agoda does not include tax in initial quotes. you will see only the final price to pay when confirm confirm.

Thus most if not all my taiwan trips are booked away from agoda . Unless of coz ur company is paying for ur trips and you are trying to gain all those points etc.

NAh the points not that much , coz using promo codes from hotels.com or hotelclub can save even more :) Now they having 15% off their best price. For my taipei hotel, if agoda and hotels.com not much difference, after applying the 15% discount codes, the price difference would be around 15+ dollars for one night :)

beacon hotel
agoda: 261.30SGD for classical double room included 5% hotel tax (is this the final price? i never book agoda before. i see booking.com got reflect price inclusive of 5 % VAT, 10 % service charge)

ezfly and beacon direct: 6300NT = 267.12SGD for 雅緻客房 (don't know in english is what type of room but is smaller than classical, conversion by typing into google chrome main search bar)

hotels.com, hotelclub.com travelking, expedia don't have this hotel
