Itinerary for mid September 2018

Plan to go Japan for 2 weeks.
Previously spent almost 3 weeks covering tokyo, fuji, hiroshima and kyoto. This time round wanna go elsewhere. Can recommend?

Autumn (September to November) , be prepared to encounter seasonal rainfall and humidity can be higher than average in Japan.

If possible, I would recommend Mid/end Nov to view the nice Autumn leaves.

Shikoku & Kyushu - Matsuyama, Fukuoka, Nagasaki

Summer temperatures continue throughout the islands of Shikoku and Kyushu in September (avg temp: 24°C), although there is still a realistic threat of typhoons during the month.
