itinerary help

Hi, im going to taipei on 15dec for 8 days. i need some help on the itinerary. im travelling with three other guys. as we are considered first time to tw, this trip is mainly on taipei only
it goes as follows.

Day 1: Land at Taoyuan at noon, check in, longshan temple and longshan street.
Day 2: Land bank exhibition hall, national museum, 228 peace park cks memorial hall
Day 3: TP101, elephant mountain trail, raohe ye shi
Day 4: (TC) Lavendar cottage, yizhong street, fengjia nm
Day 5: National palace museum, tamsui, shilin
Day 6: jinguashi, jiufen old street, shifen water fall, pingxi
Day 7: shop around wufenpu, sogo, some random shopping

no plans for day 8 yet. flight back is in the evening. any other places that i should visit or i should exclude from the list?

I've done a day trip to TC as well, but only around the city area.

Advisable to hire a driver for Taichung as you're going to lavender cottage. If you're able to spare one night at TC, you can cover more places such as 新社花海, Luce Memorial Chapel, Rainbow Village, Miyahara & 路地 氷の怪物 (https://www.facebook.com/roji2taiwan/). If you're able to spare another night, go to cingjing!

You can do Wufenpu with Raohe. They are sort of just next to each other.

yes. a day trip in tc cause dk where to go

do you have any lobang for driver? i have four person with me. also i scared the timing i want to reach taipei is too late then the driver dont want fetch me back

You can do Wufenpu with Raohe. They are sort of just next to each other.

thanks for the info... i only scared i dont have time cause im going to xiangshan before raohe for sunset

I got the contact from the other thread here

Do the attractions outside Taichung city during the day, ask the driver to drop you at fengjia nm during evening. Take the HSR back from Taichung to Taipei which imo is faster.

You can either flag a cab to bring you from fengjia to Taichung HSR easily or arrange with your driver if he's free to pick you up from fengjia to Taichung HSR thereafter.
