thanks bro dragon.
anyone driving a stream here?

my hubby just got itronics from ebay and installed it today..
i saw the video, very clear but was wonder if should really point it lower? i checked a few videos, but mostly don't capture bonnet...

The idea is not to capture the bonnet (well, unless its a rolls royce :D) but to capture the sides in the event of a sideswipe. :)

I did consider installing 2 cameras in my sis car for that reason. 1 camera might not be wide enough or may have too much barrel distortion if they are wide enough

just curious.
for those who installed the car cam; do you put it on parking mode? can i confirm that parking mode starts recording only when there is motion sense around the car? if not, it will not record?

For parking mode recording, it must be connect to the battery. The power magic is to prevent battery from over drain by the DVR recording during parking. Not sure how effective is the power magic.

those underlined in bold
i think that's what car manufacturers are trying to prevent :s13:
especially when it comes to having a pedestrian in front of the car or they try to make you balls shrink abit so won't hit other cars while parking :s13::s13::s13:

Totally no logic la
Cannot see bonnet lagi jialat
Over esitmate can lead to more problems

can i know what's your setting?
we took out the SD card for first time just now and realized in parking mode, the cam was recording all the way..

can you share?

also to check, if your set heats up? we touch it earlier, and it's hot..is it normal?

im using default setting now, never change anything
cam recording all the way could be theres something always moving infront like tree leaves, car passby, birds flying etc
another possibility is the motion sensing sensitivity
juz leave it as default (normal) will do

yes it heats up, normal i guess
it doesnt affect the video quality even it is hot
so it should be fine

Even flickering lights can trigger recording. :(

Got it from Xuiteshop in mass order section
Duration is 1 min per clip, cannot be adjusted
I know how to hide the wiring but duno how to tap to fuse box
So i ask the workshop to do everything

U go look at every clip
The moment u play it, there should be something moving at the beginning
Could be flicker light as what Dragon said
